The Homework App is a virtual homework book with many features.
Enter homework
As a teacher you can enter homework into the virtual homework book. Simply enter the subject and the work and choose a date on which the work is to be completed.
In the bottom section you can see all the homework you have already assigned. If your class is connected to another class, you can also view the homework of other teachers.
Your own homework can also be deleted in the bottom section.
Settings
In the settings of the class, set whether the students are allowed to view the homework. You have three options:
All students can see the homework: The homework appears in the students’ and parents’ dashboard. So they can access it from home. We do not recommend this setting. Students should learn to manage their own homework book.
Only absent students can see the homework: Students who are not in school can see their homework for five days online. All others must continue to manage their own homework book. This means that pupils who have not been to school are also informed about homework. This saves you having to contact them. We recommend this setting.
No student can see homework: The plugin is disabled in the settings and the Homework App is not used. No homework appears in the dashboard of students and parents.
Show homework
Show students all their homework on the front screen so that they can transfer it to their own homework book.
It is even possible to display the homework of the other teachers in the class. However, this requires that the class is connected to another class in the settings.
Remember to go full screen.
This use on the front screen or on the beamer only makes sense if you have made the settings “Only absent students can see the homework” or “No student can see homework”.
